We had a fun break in the learning today as the Harlem Wizards visited Beckwith! Don’t miss the action tonight! Tickets will be available at the door @ our high school. Doors open at 6:00 PM, and the game tips off at 7:00 PM. Come out and cheer on the DR staff as they take on the Wizards!

Beckwith Middle School competed in the annual Massasoit League Math Meet at Somerset High School on March 20th. Congratulations to Avery Ferreira, Julian Soares, Mackenzie Warren, Eliot Crowshaw, and Clive Tavares for participating in their first math meet. All five students gave their best effort as they competed both individually and as a team against six other schools.

A special congratulations goes to Julian Soares, who tied for 3rd place overall among all participants. Great work by everyone on a fun and competitive season!

BMS 8th graders were visited by staff from DRRHS today and Dr. Souza to share information about Thursday’s Early College informational session at DRRHS. This exciting program gives DRRHS students the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school. A tremendous opportunity for our students as they begin planning for their future! #WeAreDR

The Pot of Gold Dance was awesome! Students enjoyed a night full of dancing and great times with friends. A special thank you to the PTSA for making this event possible! Everyone had a blast!

The Beckwith Unified Basketball team hosted the annual Massasoit League Jamboree yesterday at DRRHS. Seven teams competed in a round robin format. The competition was sometimes friendly and sometimes fierce, but the lessons of sportsmanship and unity were always the priority. One of the Activity Clubs for Enrichment (ACE) Programs is LEGO Club, which meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Students have been building, creating, and collaborating while putting their engineering and problem-solving skills to work. #WeAreDR

The Beckwith Believers hit the court today at Beckwith Middle School, taking on Norton in the Lussier Gym! It was a spirited matchup filled with hustle, grit, and incredible teamwork from start to finish. Our athletes represented BMS with pride, sportsmanship, and heart. The Beckwith Middle School Boys Basketball team showed tremendous improvement throughout the season, and their hard work truly paid off down the stretch. The team had a great time together while competing with determination and pride in the Massasoit League. We wish the very best of luck to our 8th graders who played their final game for Beckwith: Noah Beauregard, Chase Moniz, Keegan Sellers, Rickard Karvelas, and Zachory Hardmon. Thank you for your leadership, commitment, and the example you set for our younger players. Go Raiders!

The 2025-2026 Beckwith Middle School Girls Basketball Team captured their second consecutive Massasoit League Championship. They finished this season with a 17 and 1 overall record and a perfect 16 and 0 record in Massasoit League play. The girls continued this season right where they left off last season and continued their dominance through their hard work and cohesiveness with new and returning groups of players!! We would like to wish a special farewell to our fantastic group of graduating 8th graders: Natalia Regan, Kamilia Garcia, Hayleigh Guthrie, Cecelia Oliveira, and Zoya Holowka. Your leadership helped to grow and guide this team through an outstanding season!! We wish you all the best in High School next season!! Go Raiders!!!
