Congrats to Korey Grant, Cole Nystrom, Abbie Oldmixon, and Ella Sampson for representing BMS at the 2025 Junior SEMSBA Music Festival at Oliver Ames High School on May 2–3!
Under the direction of guest conductor Ms. Michela Booker, these 7th and 8th grade chorus students joined singers from across Southeastern MA to rehearse and perform a beautiful selection of choral pieces. The festival wrapped up with an incredible concert for family and friends. #DT2030 #EIS

Felix Gore is Beckwith Middle School's Project 351 Ambassador for this year. Project 351 is a youth-led service initiative that selects one student from each of the Commonwealth's 351 cities and towns to serve as an Ambassador. This year marks Project 351’s 15th anniversary, with a collective impact on more than 1.4 million lives.
In January, Ambassadors joined Governor Maura Healey, Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll, Massachusetts Secretary of Education Patrick Tutwiler, and other community leaders in Boston for a day of service and celebration.
Felix helped organize a clothing drive at Beckwith that collected nearly 1,000 items of clothing to support those in need.

Congratulations to Addison Bairos who was selected to represent the northeast region and Rehoboth in the 14u All American softball games. She will head to Oklahoma in August to Devon park, which is the location that the 2028 Olympics will be played. She will compete against the best players in all the country and showcase her talents in front of many D1 coaches.

We had a special visit to Beckwith today from Officer Aguiar and K-9 Edo for the dedication of a book all about Edo, titled Rough Justice. We’re excited to share that students will now be able to check out a copy of this awesome book from our library! #WeAreDR #K9 #RehobothPD

Beckwith was well represented at the Special Olympics Leadership Summit in Marlborough today. The students had a blast learning about unified sports, inclusive youth leadership and whole school engagement. Lots of new friends were made and some new ideas are brewing! #EIS #Unified

Our students had the amazing opportunity to interact with the EarthView Globe from Bridgewater State University today!🌎🙌 The EarthView Globe is a giant interactive globe that allows students to explore the world in a whole new way – from global geography to environmental changes. It's a fantastic hands-on learning experience that truly empowers our students to think globally.
Through this experience, we aimed to IGNITE curiosity, spark passion for the planet, and SHAPE the leaders of tomorrow who are informed, engaged, and ready to make a difference.
A huge thank you to BSU and the EarthView team for bringing this incredible learning tool to Beckwith! 💡🌟

Our Project 351 Ambassador, Felix Gore, is leading this year’s annual clothing drive.
We are collecting gently used children’s clothing (sizes newborn through age 12) to support children in homeless or low-income situations.
📅 Now through April 11th, donate clothing to help make a difference!
🏆 Prizes will be awarded to:
*The grade with the most donations
*The homeroom with the most donations
*The top 3 individual donors
To ensure your donation is counted, please attach a label with your name, homeroom number, grade, and the number of clothing items donated. Extra labels are available on the cafeteria stage, where you can drop off donations.
Thank you for your support!

This past month in PE, students have been actively engaged in Mat Ball and Track and Field units! These activities help ignite a love for movement, empower students to build confidence in their physical abilities, and shape lifelong fitness habits. #EIS #DT2030
